Method and sources

1. Scope: 42 skydiving centres in 18 countries, including 2 benchmarks in the United States, plus PACMA, the publisher of this index, with its official prices. No ratings, no ranking.
2. Source: public prices read on 18 October 2026 on the official website of the centre or of the jump operator, including VAT, in its currency, never on a marketplace. Each source page is linked in the table.
3. Tandem: standard price without video at the reference altitude, on weekdays when the page distinguishes weekdays and weekends. The lowest published price (lower altitude, restricted day or slot) is given in the details. Promo codes and time-limited offers are excluded.
4. Video: the cheapest video option added to the jump. When a centre only sells video as a package, we use the difference between the package and the jump alone, and say so.
5. Empty cell: information not published on the source page. We never estimate a missing value.
6. Currencies: every price stays in the centre's own currency, with no conversion. Sorting by price lists euro prices first, then each other currency in turn.
7. Statistics: medians of the European centres that publish their prices in euros (country medians in the country's own currency); the US benchmarks and tandems sold with video included are excluded.
8. Winter: “open in winter” = the source shows jump activity between December and March; “partly” = part of that period or some days only; “closed in winter” = the published season excludes December to March.
9. Independence: no affiliate links, every link goes straight to the official website. Vertical T'Air, PACMA's partner, is flagged in its row.
10. Updates: every season, between September and November. A price has changed? A centre wants a correction? Write to us: we correct after checking its official page.
