Tandem skydive: smiling passenger in freefall with arms spread, her instructor right behind her

Stag do skydive in Morocco

The story they'll still be telling at the wedding.

A tandem skydive from 4,000 metres facing the Atlas peaks, around 50 seconds of freefall, then back to Marrakech to party. The highlight of the stag or hen weekend, at the group rate from 10 people.

How much does a stag do skydive cost?

At PACMA, a tandem skydive costs 2,100 MAD per person at the group rate, for 10 or more people booked at least 6 days ahead, compared with 2,500 MAD individually for Morocco residents and €250 for non-residents. Add 900 MAD for the guest of honour's video and photos, and 70 MAD per lunch by the runway: the weekend's biggest memory is sorted.

Why the jump becomes the highlight of the weekend

A memory shared by the whole crew

The groom, the best man and the mates all share the same climb, the same door opening at 4,000 metres and the same whoop of joy. The kind of memory that bonds a group for life.

No preparation

No experience, no training: a tandem instructor is harnessed to each passenger and takes care of everything, from the aircraft exit to the landing. A briefing on site is all it takes; the only limit to check: 90 kg dressed.

Sunshine in the middle of winter

The season runs from 5 December 2026 to 4 April 2027. While Europe shivers, you jump above the Tadla plain, facing the Middle Atlas peaks, often snow-capped at this time of year. A living postcard!

The big thrill, with total confidence

PACMA is a club approved by the French Parachuting Federation (FFP), founded in 2000 and based at Beni Mellal airport since 2003. Every parachute is fitted with an automatic activation device.

Price per person and for the group

The group rate applies from 10 participants, on a quote. Fewer of you? Everyone books online at the individual rate in a few clicks, no quote needed.

Surprising the groom (or the bride)

A skydive slots beautifully into a stag do programme. Buy a gift voucher online, printable straight away, and reveal it at breakfast on the big day: the reaction alone is worth the trip!

A voucher bought today is valid for the season, until 4 April 2027; the exact date is printed on it. To get the whole crew jumping on the same day, book the group date in the same quote request. All our tips are in the guide giving a skydive as a gift.

The guest of honour's video

Not everyone needs their own video, but the guest of honour does: it's the footage everyone will want to watch again at the wedding! The video and photos option costs 900 MAD at the group rate, compared with 1,000 MAD individually for residents and €100 for non-residents.

For those who want to keep everything, the tandem and video pack comes to 3,000 MAD per person at the group rate.

The rules of the game: sober, 90 kg, certificate

A great stag do is a well-prepared day of air sports. Four simple rules, so the whole crew gets on the plane:

  • A sober night before for the jumpers: only passengers in top form board the plane. Save the big night out for afterwards, it will be all the better for it.
  • 90 kg maximum dressed per passenger: check it for everyone when you book.
  • A medical certificate confirming no contraindication for each jumper; without one, a check is possible on site with the club doctor (200 MAD).
  • The minimum age and parental consent for minors: the current rule is on the tandem skydive page.

What if the groom is scared?

That's exactly who the tandem is made for! No experience and no special courage needed: the instructor, harnessed behind him, handles the exit, the freefall, the opening and the landing. The ground briefing explains every move, calmly. His only job: enjoy it.

Safety rests on a clear framework: an FFP-approved club, qualified instructors, an automatic activation device on every parachute and weather calls made by the chief instructor. The figures are in our guide is skydiving dangerous?

A word to the best man: surprise, yes; pressure, never. Everyone jumps because they want to, and the friend who'd rather stay on the ground makes a golden audience.

Hen dos: same jump, same thrills

For a hen do, it's the same party: same group rate, same briefing, same rules. No experience is needed; you just have to stay within the 90 kg dressed limit and bring a medical certificate.

As for memories, the video of the bride-to-be in freefall facing the Atlas beats any photo shoot. And in the evening, Marrakech awaits: riads, hammams, rooftops… all our ideas are in the guide stag and hen dos in Marrakech.

Fancy dress comes after the jump

The groom's costume is part of the tradition, and it gets its moment of glory on the ground: under the harness, the instructors choose the outfit. Bring closed trainers, comfortable clothes and a jacket for the runway side in winter.

The fancy dress goes on after landing, for the group photo by the runway. That's where it makes the biggest splash!

Those who don't jump, and the weather

Friends and family are welcome: they watch the landings from the runway side and share lunch under the caidal tent (70 MAD). They're often the ones filming the guest of honour's reaction on the ground.

Wind and cloud have the final say, and you lose nothing: if the chief instructor judges conditions unsuitable, the jump is rescheduled free of charge to another date in the season or turned into a credit. Organiser's tip: plan the jump for Saturday and keep Sunday as a back-up. To understand what makes us fly or wait, read weather and skydiving.

Every answer you need to jump with a light heart

How many people can jump on the same day?

The whole crew can jump in a day! The Pilatus PC-6 carries 9 skydivers per load, instructors included, and a second aircraft joins at busy times. Your group is spread over several loads; the number of jumpers and the jump order are agreed in the quote, depending on the date and the weather.

Can we all jump from the same plane?

In a tandem, each passenger jumps with their instructor, so each 9-seat load takes part of the group. Jumpers on the same load leap out one after another and meet up on the ground a few minutes later, for an explosion of shared joy.

From how many people does the group rate apply?

From 10 participants, booked at least 6 days in advance, on a quote: 2,100 MAD per person for the tandem. Below that, everyone books online at the individual rate in a few clicks.

Do we need to book far in advance?

The minimum is 6 days for the group rate. For a stag or hen do, book as soon as the date is set, especially in December, February and over the spring holidays: you'll have your pick of slots.

Is transport from Marrakech organised?

Mention it in your quote request: the club will suggest possible options. Otherwise, a minibus with driver booked in Marrakech makes the round trip, with 2.5 hours on the road each way. Routes are detailed on the practical information page.

What happens if the weather is bad?

The chief instructor decides based on wind and cloud. If conditions are unsuitable, the jump is rescheduled free of charge to another date in the season or turned into a credit: you lose nothing.

Can the friends who don't jump come along?

Yes, friends and family are very welcome! They watch the landings from the runway side and share lunch under the caidal tent (70 MAD per person).

Can the groom jump in fancy dress?

The fancy dress waits on the ground: under the harness, the instructors choose the outfit. It goes on after landing, for a group photo to remember.

Can we give the groom the jump as a gift voucher?

Yes, and it's the perfect surprise: the gift voucher is bought online and printed straight away. It is valid for the season, until 4 April 2027; the exact date is printed on the voucher.
