How much does a student skydiving trip cost?

At the group rate, for 10 or more participants booked 6 days ahead: 2,100 MAD for a tandem skydive, 5,000 MAD for the AFF first jump (a first freefall jump with two instructors) and 13,200 MAD for the 7-jump AFF course. Add transport, accommodation in Beni Mellal and 70 MAD per lunch at the dropzone: the trip of the year is ready.

Tandem or AFF: which option suits your group?

Three levels of adventure, to mix freely on the same trip. The guide tandem or AFF for a first jump helps everyone choose.

Tandem: the whole society jumps on the same day

No training: each student jumps harnessed to an instructor, after a ground briefing. Around 50 seconds of freefall from 4,000 m! Requirements: 90 kg maximum dressed and a medical certificate (or a check on site, 200 MAD).

AFF first jump: the first real jump

The first jump of the PAC (France's equivalent of AFF, accelerated freefall): the student jumps with their own parachute, held by two instructors during freefall, after ground training. FFP-approved medical less than three months old.

AFF course: 7 jumps towards going solo

For the most motivated, the AFF course strings together 7 supervised jumps following the FFP progression, the first step towards the A licence. The ideal format for sports clubs that want to train future skydivers.

Student prices: the group rate from 10

Prices per person, the same for every member of the group. No need for a ‘student’ price list: the group rate brings the bill down for everyone.

Medical: sort it before you book the flights

This is the point to plan ahead for a stress-free group trip. Depending on the option chosen:

  • Tandem: a medical certificate confirming no contraindication; without one, a check is possible on site with the club doctor (200 MAD).
  • AFF first jump and AFF course: an FFP-approved medical less than three months old, to arrange before you leave.
  • Minors: the current age rule and parental consent are shown on the tandem skydive page.

A day or a longer stay: planning the trip

In a single day, a tandem is all you need: leave Casablanca (2 hours by road) or Marrakech (2.5 hours) in the morning, jump in successive loads, lunch under the caidal tent, back in the evening.

Over several days, AFF really comes into its own: students progress jump after jump, at the pace of the weather and their progress, under the instructors' watchful eye. The schedule is built with the club when you get your quote.

To stay locally, accommodation and routes are on the practical information page. For the full budget of a training course, read the cost of a licence, from AFF to the A licence.

Why Beni Mellal for a student trip

Winter in the sun

Season from 5 December 2026 to 4 April 2027, every day from 8:30 am to 6 pm: the perfect window for winter and spring breaks, when many northern European centres close for the winter.

4,000 m facing the Atlas

Exit at around 4,000 m from a Pilatus PC-6 Porter, around 50 seconds of freefall above the Tadla plain, facing the Middle Atlas peaks. The backdrop every year group dreams of.

An FFP syllabus

The club is approved by the French Parachuting Federation: the AFF course follows the FFP progression towards the A licence (at least 12 jumps, including 5 solo).

Morocco as a bonus

Marrakech, Casablanca, the Atlas: the adventure goes well beyond the dropzone. Ideas are in our guide unusual day trips from Marrakech.

Top universities already know the way

The club is used to students. According to Aujourd'hui le Maroc, 3,000 jumps had been made through PACMA by February 2008, 1,500 of them by students of France's École polytechnique.

The press also mentions training for French Air Force teams and visits by French clubs (Royan, Le Blanc, Pau, Nîmes). Your society can write the next chapter!

University skydiving clubs: your licensed jumpers too

If your club already has licensed skydivers, they jump from 4,000 m for €27 (290 MAD for residents), with a valid licence, insurance, logbook and up-to-date gear. Everything is on the licensed skydivers page; the club's students follow the AFF course at the group rate.

And after the trip?

The 7-jump AFF course is the first step towards the FFP A licence (at least 12 jumps, including 5 solo). Students who've caught the bug will find the full path on the AFF course page, and options for next winter in our guide AFF course abroad.

Every answer you need to jump with a light heart

Is there a student rate?

Better than a student price list: the group rate, from 10 participants booked 6 days ahead. It brings the tandem down to 2,100 MAD, the AFF first jump to 5,000 MAD and the AFF course to 13,200 MAD per person.

Can we mix tandem and AFF in the same group?

Yes, everyone chooses their own adventure: some do a tandem, others an AFF first jump or the AFF course. Give the split in your quote request and the club will work out the applicable group rate.

What medical is needed for AFF?

For the AFF first jump and the AFF course, an FFP-approved medical less than three months old. For a tandem, a certificate confirming no contraindication is enough, or the check on site with the club doctor (200 MAD).

Can minors take part?

The current age rule and the parental consent required for minors are on the tandem skydive page. For a school group, contact the club before booking: we'll prepare the trip with you.

How many students can jump in a day?

The Pilatus PC-6 carries 9 skydivers per load, instructors included, with a second aircraft joining at busy times. The group is spread over several loads; the schedule is agreed in the quote, depending on the date and the weather.

Do you need a licence for a tandem skydive?

No: no licence or experience is needed for a tandem. You simply need to stay within the 90 kg dressed limit and bring a medical certificate.

Where can we stay in Beni Mellal?

Accommodation and routes are on the practical information page. For an AFF stay, give your dates in the quote request: the club will plan the jump schedule with you.

Bring the whole year group on board

Dates, number of students, options (tandem, AFF first jump, AFF course): send your request and the club will reply with a group quote. The trip everyone will talk about all year!
